Welcome to the Newest Dreamer: Slow Hand BBQ
This is what community is all about. My family and I are regulars at this fantastic BBQ spot in Pleasant Hill. The food is amazing, the beer is quality and the atmosphere is perfect. From the staff behind the counter to the customers they attract, Slow Hand BBQ is a welcoming, at home kinda place.
But let's be clear... this is not your backyard BBQ. This is really good. Like, bring your family that is visiting from Texas impressive. The first time I had Slow Hand was at a pumpkin patch in Clayton and I may have went back for seconds. The Yelp, Facebook and Googlers of this world agree with me too!
Dan, the owner of Slow Hand, and I got talking one day about another great restaurant... and their horrible instagram feed. I told Dan that I actually direct messaged that restaurant because they had great food, good drinks but were doing a down right terrible job marketing themselves.
Before I knew it I was learning about Dan's dream of owning a BBQ place, how he agonized over getting the name just right and his current marketing company. This is why I started The Dreamers Society. There are just about a million marketing companies out there, but they get big, selfish and lose site of their client.
I want to welcome Dan, Slow Hand and his team to the amazing and growing network of dreamers.
The previous marketing company was posting stock photo one after another. As I scrolled through the Facebook feed of irrelevant memes, stock BBQ photos and generic content I saw a familiar site... the amazing tray of food you get at slow hand. Every other post had 2-5 likes... but as soon as people saw this photo they recognized it. This is our goal for Slow Hand, to have original content, to engage the community and to bring the essence of Slow Hand to the web. Now if only someone could invent smell-o-vision already...
